I found a heart shaped potato, and had a little fun!
Now I want to share a few recipes of mine which have been published on the web.

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 small onions, sliced
- 3 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
Directions
- In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour and salt until smooth. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
- In a greased 1-qt. baking dish, layer the potatoes and onions. Pour white sauce over the top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 65-75 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with bacon.

Mashed Potatoes with a Kick

Ingredients
- 10 medium potatoes (3 pounds), peeled and cubed
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Place potatoes in a Dutch oven and cover with water. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until tender.
- Drain. In a large bowl, mash potatoes with remaining ingredients. Yield: 8servings.
One person who comented sounded more like what I originally wrote.
Everybody among my family and friends loves these potatoes. They never guess the secret ingredient of what makes them so good, and they're always surprised that it is horseradish.
